Singing Over The Bones

"Singing Over the Bones" was a one-woman theatre piece starring Lisa Schouw. It explores the emotional journey of modern motherhood through story and song. The show had its Australian premiere in September 2000 as part of the B Sharp Solo season at Sydney's prestigious Belvoir Street Downstairs Theatre and was invited to the 2000 Melbourne Fringe Festival.
Co-devised by Lisa Schouw and Chrissie Koltai "Singing Over the Bones" includes stories by Gretel Killeen, Anna Maria De'lloso, Jeri Kroll and Lisa Schouw. The show has original songs by Lisa and her musical director Peter Bailey as well as music by Christine McVie, Daniel Lanois and Sinead O'Connor.
